These are resources that you are welcome to download and use for purposes of furthering your own education about acu detox, or to use directly in your practice of the protocol. Feel free to print and distribute as needed.

• Summaries of research, on the use of the NADA protocol and acupuncture in addictions and behavioral health

• US Government-issued best practice and evidence based manuals on addictions and behavioral health, including recommendations on the use of acupuncture.

This literature includes essays by Michael O. Smith, MD, DAc, essays on clinical practice by Claudia Voyles, LAc and Laura Cooley LAc, a guide to acu detox research, compilations of articles in what are known as the NADA Papers, and DVDs on the introduction and practice of acu detox in a variety of clinical settings.
