**Please Note: This event has been postponed and will resume when the COVID19 situation will allow.**
Training is four days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – April 28 – May 1, 2020. All classes will be 9 am – 5 pm, except Wednesday, April 29 @ 9 am to 6:30 pm. Attendance is required at all sessions.
Course covers didactic and clinical portions, although some pre and post class work is required to complete the training, which is competency based.
This course (normally $500) is grant funded from the West Virginia State Opioid Response (SOR) grants. Thanks to Dr. Toni DiChiacchio at the WVU School of Nursing, it will be provided free of charge to those WV practitioners eligible to be an ADS*, and preference will be given to those who work in the field of addictions and Substance Use Disorders. Included in the course are practice clinics, all materials and supplies.
In a relaxed and professional setting, we will utilize a mix of learning styles and techniques in a caring, supportive and encouraging manner. Exemplifying the acceptance of and value for all individuals, we provide snacks and a nurturing environment promoting self care. If you have any questions contact Instructor Ardyth Gilbertson (see below). Registration Form
