Acudetox is an effective, safe, low cost and drug free therapy for use in addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, PTSD and psychological and emotional trauma. In this 70 hour NADA training you will learn how to apply a standardized ear acupuncture protocol and how to set up an Acudetox community clinic.
Please note that this training consists of 4 days and trainees must be present for all 4 days. We will meet Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun 1/23/20-1/26/20 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day. This 4-day comprehensive course includes didactic training, in-class practicum and clinical training. Trainees must be prepared to receive and administer Acudetox treatments. As an important part of your training, we will be setting up two or more free Acudetox clinics for our local recovery community.
This training is open to those working in the addiction and trauma recovery fields and behavioral health professions. In the state of Tennessee, non-acupuncturists can be licensed as an Acudetox Specialist (ADS) through the TN Acupuncture Board. This training meets the educational requirements for ADS licensure in the state of Tennessee, it does not, however, guarantee that you will get licensed. You must also be working for, or associated with, a comprehensive recovery or behavioral health facility. This training is also open to Licensed Acupuncturists, Physicians, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Holistic Nurses and other medical professionals.
The cost of $595 includes all materials, training manual, NADA application fee and NADA membership for one year.
