Hi everyone,
I have not completed a training since the implementation of the new system. I am wondering if someone can answer some questions for me, as I’ve tried getting in touch with board members but I’m not receiving calls back. There are some trainings I do in which I contract with another agency or organization to provide them. These organizations have their own policies and procedures regarding the collection of funds and other items that NADA is now saying needs to go through them. First, is it possible for these organizations I am contracted with to collect the funds from training attendees and then me submit the 15% back to NADA, as opposed to the other way around? Also, when these organizations are writing me a check for a designated amount, I have to complete a W9 through them already. Why would I need to complete another W9 through NADA to get taxed twice? Thank you in advance. -

Great questions.
I too would like some guidance on this as I am being asked by hospitals and VA clinics to train for their staff. -

Thank you for these questions.
Wde have not yet designed a digital system for agencies/hospitals, although one is forthcoming. In the meantime proceed as follows. We prefer that each trainee register in the digital system and, if possible, pay their membership fee there. We will provide a coupon code for each of the trainee’s to use to cover the tuition fee in the shopping cart. If that is not possible then we can provide a coupon code which includes membership.
It is your responsibility as an RT to ensure that membership fees and the training fee are paid to the organization. Ideally the agency/organization would be able to pay NADA directly as a vendor, by check to the PO BOX, and NADA will forward you your part to you. IF the agency sends you the fees then you are to download a coversheet, as in the past, and
send NADA’s portion to them.If the Agency pays the RT directly (as is the system stands now) then the Agency provides the 1099 and the RT pays NADA 15%
as a fee.
If the Agency pays NADA directly as a vendor, then NADA pays the RT 85% and provides the 1099.Questions of this nature can be sent to membership@acudetox.com for a direct answer (and the coupon codes).
