For the second year, we are giving visibility to the DARE Network, “a community-based grassroots organization providing culturally appropriate treatment and prevention programs to reduce substance abuse and associated societal problems within the communities of the refugee and displaced ethnic people from Burma, along the Thai-Burmese border. Make a gift to the DARE Network.

We invite you to extend your support beyond the North American borders, and consider supporting DARE as they evolve to develop a sustainable future for their addiction recovery services (read more about their Moringaid initiative). The DARE Network has an opportunity to optimize gifts made on December 1, through Global Giving’s donation match. Please consider supporting their addiction treatment services, which have included acudetox as a core part of their program.

Project lead, Pam Rogers, writes:

“Our greatest challenge has been the continued withdrawal of International Donors from refugee support on the border. It has created a lot of hardship for the refugees and indeed for our organization. Without taking some kind of action our existence is threatened.â€

NADA is a global movement. Let us show our support to our international NADA family, so that we can all thrive, and help people access recovery with the support of the NADA protocol.
