Required steps before registration.
30 min interview with Juan Cortez
Prerequisite 30 hours of study time ,before training date. links to study material will be provided upon registration confirmation.
Day one
9am- welcome and introductions
10am -Quiz based on prerequisite study material
11am-  History  of Acu detox   ,social justice, and  using Acu detox for manage substance use
12pm  – working with different populations ,using trauma informed care.
1pm-130pm  Lunch
130pm-230pm  safety, universal precautions ,and clean needle technique
230pm- 330pm   review of the 5 points
330pm-4pm      practice on model ears
4pm-5pm  practice on fellow peers.
Home work 2 hours. review points and practice on an orange
Day 2
9am – 930am review
930am-10am – scope of practice and developing an appropriate referral source
10am-12 pm practice
12- 1pm  using beads and seeds
1-130 lunch
130-2pm   Welcome  to NADA – Dr. Carter and Dr. Leggett
2pm – 5pm practice

Day 3
9am-12pm review
12pm-`1pm lunch
1pm -4pm practice

Students must complete and log a total of 40 treatments to be eligible for a certificate .  Students have 30 days to complete their practicum .
