ADS Training in NYC with an opportunity to do a volunteer internship at the most unique holistic health program in the US. Online sexual harassment training and orientation must be attended before starting the volunteer internship at On Point.
this training will be limited to a maximum of 10 students
Prerequisite- 30 minute phone interview with Juan – 40 hour pre course study – study material provided upon registration confirmation .
Day 1 9am-10:30am introduction to NADA (Benefits,drug detox,drug use management , scope of practice, HIPPA,, state laws)
1030-12pm overview of the 5 points .practice on model ears

2Pm-3pm trauma informed care
3-315 demonstration
315-5pm session practice
Day 2 9am- 10am review
10am-12pm practice sessions
12-1pm lunch
1pm-3pm Introduction and practice beads and seeds
3pm-4pm ( working with different populations, boundaries and self care)
4pm-5pm Qi gong self care and its relation to the 5 points.
Day 3 9am -10am introduction to harm reduction and the benefits of NADA for people actively using substances.
10am-11am community healing ,and the connection to social justice through the use of the 5 points.
1030am–2 pm practice sessions
Please be advised that students have 30 days to complete the practicum.
We are the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association, an organization that trains people in the NADA protocol to treat trauma, substance misuse, abuse, and mental health conditions.
