This is a hybrid program that the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) has approved in an effort to continue providing training during the pandemic.
This is an interactive training using multiple learning methods that will be both synchronous (live online) and asynchronous (completed independently, on your own) learning. We will not be learning how to needle until we meet in person.
The out of class assignments and the in class (live online) sessions plus the hours of our in-person meetings will be equivalent to the 30 hours of classroom training required by NADA.
Format, Dates, Times &; Locations:
Online portion of training is via Google Classroom where you can pace the reading and other assignments with your schedule. Every two weeks a new module is released for a total of 5 online modules leading up to the in person training.
5 live 2 hour Zoom meetings to integrate the material you are learning. Zoom meetings can be attended live (recommended) or replays watched. Each Zoom meeting corresponds to the material you are learning in that respective module. These meetings are usually on an evening from 7-9 pm. There are office hours from 6:30 to 7:00 pm on the Zoom class nights to answer any questions.
The in person part of the training is a full weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm and will take place at 194 Second St. Amherst VA 24521.
