ACUDETOX TRAINING
This 4 day hybrid training is designed for individuals who have access to an ALREADY established acudetox program. Each student in this course will be required to complete 40 treatments in an already established Acudetox program led by a NADA trained Acudetox Specialist in order to meet competency criteria. This practical experience is in addition to didactic and clinical training as well as pre class and in class assignments.
Additionally each student must have access to reliable internet as 2 of the classes will be real time virtual meetings.
CLASS DATES: Online June 10/24 8:30-1:00 in person June 13/14 8:30 – 4:00
TUititon includes allmaterials including a NADA resource manual, eads and seeds kit and treatment supplies .
Preclass homework – NADA organization, 12 step programs, introduction to energy medicine, theory of addiction, ear anatomy.
DAY 1 – 4 HOUR ZOOM
History and use of the protocol,Points of Change, beads, seeds and sleepmix tea Ear anatomy and basics of point location.
DAY 2 – 8 hours in person. Receiving the treatment, Finding the points, Clean needle technique, needling skills, consent form, ethics pledge, practice clinic on family and friends
Day 3 – 8 hours in person Point review, function of the points, needling review, patient management, East Asian energy theory, practice clinic
Several weeks for students to use the protocol with clients already established program
Day 4 – 4 hour zoom Clinical concerns, DEIBA, program implementation/sustainability, Safety and
Consent, ADS competencies.
Each student will complete 40 clients in order to be eligible for a certificate of completion.
They will have 1 year to complete this, although I recommend it be complete within 3 months.
