Classroom followed by a clinic internship which trainees must complete a minimum of 40 treatments, Internships are based on trainees schedule. Also required is 6 hours of research on the benefits of acupuncture, Navigating and watching video’s on the NADA website, the film Dope is Death and the history of Lincoln Detox. Training completion consist of a verbal and practical exam.
Other topics will include harm reduction, acupuncture and activism, working with different populations and settings, the use of beads and seeds, introduction to sound therapy and Qigong..
