Betsy Prager has been a social worker since 1979, 25 years in child protective services and the last 15 years in mental health and addictions. Her focus in addictions has been women with a history of addictions and trauma. Betsy has been offering acupuncture to her clients since 2003, and has been a registered trainer since 2007. She has continued to participate in the work with NADA despite the lack of encouragement from management within the health care system. She hopes that the pendulum will swing back, allowing for a resurgence of the use of the NADA protocol in treating addictions, stress and trauma. Betsy has enjoyed her work with NADA as and ADS and a trainer.
