Registered Trainer Application

This application must be approved by NADA before you can become an RT. At that time you will be required to pay a yearly RT Membership fee to remain active as an RT.

Prerequisite to submit an application for NADA Registered Trainer status:

  • Have been actively practicing the NADA 5- point protocol a minimum of two years
  • Demonstrate education
  • Demonstrate having a background/commitment to behavioral health
  • Have current liability insurance
  • Locate a “Sponsoring Registered Trainer”
  • Submit the $250 application fee
  • Sponsoring Registered Trainer
  • Membership and RT dues are current
  • Maintains current liability insurance ( personal and/or Corporate/Agency)
  • Active RT for a minimum of 2 years
  • To have lead 4-6 successful training
  • Is active on a NADA Committee
  • Is committed to the success of the RT-Apprentice
