Part I: Setting the Scene
Join us for the first event of our NADA history series.
Time: March 26th at 10am PDT/11am MDT/12pm CDT/1pm EDT
How was Lincoln Detox possible at Lincoln Hospital?
Known as the ‘butcher shop’ in the South Bronx, Lincoln Hospital was a seemingly unexpected place for the founding of a revolutionary People’s Detox Program. 50 Years after the takeover of Lincoln Hospital, which led to Lincoln Detox, we set the scene for our history dialogue series with special guests Johanna Fernández and Miguel “Mickey” Melendez.
All ticket sales go towards speaker honorariums and supporting a local grassroots member organization. TBA at the event.
